President He Zhenwei held meeting with Commercial Counsellor of the Embassy of P

In the afternoon of 22 August, Ghulam Qadir, Commercial Counsellor of the Embassy of Pakistan in China, visited CODA and had a meeting with President He Zhenwei.

He Zhenwei welcomed the visit of the Counsellor and his delegation and said that China and Pakistan are all-weather strategic partners and the relationship between the two countries is rock-solid and unbreakable, covering all aspects of politics, economy, diplomacy and security. The Embassy of Pakistan in China has been working closely with CODA and has provided a lot of assistance to Chinese enterprises investing in Pakistan. President He cordially invited H.E.Ambassador Moin Haque and Counsellor Ghulam Qadir to attend the 13th China Overseas Investment Fair to be held by CODA on September 16.



Ghulam Qadir said that Pakistan and China have maintained close friendship and cooperation over the years, and with the joint efforts of both sides, the construction of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor has achieved remarkable results and brought many benefits to the people of both countries. He expressed that the construction of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor has now entered the second phase of high-quality development, and the Pakistani side hopes that the two countries will continue to broaden the areas of cooperation, especially in expanding exports to China, narrowing the trade deficit, and attracting more Chinese enterprises to invest in Pakistan, so as to effectively promote and enhance the independent development capacity of Pakistan, increase employment and expand exports of goods. He also thanked Mr. He Zhenwei for inviting the Ambassador and himself to participate in the China Overseas Investment Fair and hoped that after this event, a special "Pakistan Investment Promotion Seminar" would be held jointly with the China Oversea Development Association.
