On June 12th, the Russian Embassy in China held a National Day reception, which was attended by Wang Dongming, Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, Ambassador Igor Morgulov, and diplomatic representatives from various countries, as well as representatives from Chinese-funded enterprises. President He Zhenwei was invited to attend the reception and had an exchange with Ambassador Morgulov.

In his speech, Vice Chairman Wang Dongming pointed out that China is willing to deepen political mutual trust and expand pragmatic cooperation with Russia based on the consensus reached by the heads of state. He emphasized the importance of strengthening the emotional bond of friendship between the two countries and making new significant contributions to the respective development and revitalization of both nations.

During their conversation, President He Zhenwei formally invited Ambassador Morgulov to attend and deliver a speech at the 13th China Overseas Investment Fair, scheduled to be held on the 16th of this month at the Beijing International Hotel. The Ambassador graciously accepted the invitation, expressing his willingness to attend this year's fair and present an overview of Russia's overall economic situation and relevant industry advantages to Chinese enterprises.
