Latin America Investment Cooperation Forum Successfully Held

On May 27th, the Latin American Investment Cooperation Forum organized by CODA during the 14th COIFAIR, was successfully held at Beijing National Convention Center. The theme is “Focus on the Economic Transformation to Deepen the China-Latin America Investment and Trade Market”. H.E. Mr. Michael Campbell, Nicaraguan Ambassador to China attended the event and delivered a keynote speech. The forum is hosted by Li Ya, Partner of Zhonglun Law Firm.

Mr. David Ivan Trujillo Solis, Trade and Investment Commissioner of Mexican Embassy in China, Mr. Oscar Felipe Rueda, Commercial Counselor of the Embassy of Colombia in Beijing and Director of ProColombia in China, Mrs. Justina Botto, Diplomat of Economic & Business Section of Argentine Embassy in China, Mrs. Maricarmen Ortega, Coordinator of Programs of the Embassy of Honduras in China, Mr. Li Yahong, Assistant of General Manager of China Energy Overseas Investment Co., Ltd., and Mr. Xia Tingqian, Executive President of ERUI International Electronic Commerce Co., Ltd, attended the Panel Discussion. They gave new views and insights on the characteristics and models of economic cooperation between China and Latin America, and new directions and opportunities for cooperation between Chinese and Latin American enterprises, and how can Chinese companies enter the Latin American market more safely and with higher quality.
